Nailsinc Hand Masks

Aesthetic: The packaging was very sturdy and smooth. The product felt very elegant. BIG PLUS- Everyone is in love with this floral look.

Price: $12

Look: The design of the gloves was beautiful. This is a very in style print amoung the younger generation so I think this was a very good print choice.

Feel: Since the weather has been a little cold and dry in Texas so have my hands. Using these gloves I instantly felt relief and my hands were so smooth after using.

I was a little skeptic on getting on the FabFitFun trend but I have loved everything I have received in the spring box. I will soon be reviewing those products as well but I recommended if you can afford it I would definitely sign up for this fun beauty subscription.

As soon as I opened the packaging the aroma of sweet flowers filled my room. Just like a face mask whenever I took the gloves out of the package they were slimy and smooth since they are infused with vitamins and moisturizers. When I put them on my hands were incased in a cool and refreshing case. I wore them for about 20 minutes and then took them off and washed my hands. After taking them off my hands were SO soft and not dry at all.

Overall I LOVE these gloves. I received these in my spring FabFitFun subscription box and will definitely be buying these again. I have seen these sold at Target, Ulta and Walmart for $12. In my opionion I feel like these are a reasonably priced item and good quality as well. I have never seen hand masks before and Nailsinc sure did a good job on this product. Hopefully they come out with more soon!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back next week!

About Page

In my site I would like to thorouly come up with topics and find the best one. Once I have I will do some research and make a rough draft of what I want my post to say. I will review it and if I thinks its up to my standard I would post it. I just felt as through I couldn’t put as much time as I wanted to into my posts because of work, other classes and life. Next time I will be sure to have a major part of my time devoted to working on my blog. Because this is a lot of work.

The best experience that I had was doing the twitter scavenger hunt. I loved talking to new people and finding stuff out about my university that I didn’t even know. This was a very fun assignment and I will always remember it.

I would say that going around asking people their interest and hobbies defintely helps me make connections and having a bond. In the real world it really sometimes is about the people you know and the connections you have and If I keep this up I could be in a good pair of shoes in a few short years.

I’ll definitley be using these skills while I am going to job interviews in order to sucessfull show my future boss my skills and what I have to offer. I would also like to take these skills with me when I go to my future job as well. I hope to work at a sports marketing department hopefully for the Houston Astros or the Houstin Texans.

Garnier Fructic: Curl Stretch

Aesthetic: The aesthetic of this bottle is very simple. The container is a regular green with a navy lid. Overall the aesthetic of this is quite boring.

Price: The Garnier Fructis curl stretch is about $4 and you can find this product at Ulta and even such places as Walmart. Very affordable product.

Look: As I mentioned about the aesthetic I feel the packaging and coloring of the container is very boring and I feel like they definitely could’ve made this product more colorful so that is would catch buyers eyes.

Feel: I have naturally wavy and dry hair. So this product works WONDERS. I use this in the morning when I attempting to fix my hair and it makes my hair routine go by so much quick. It smoothes my hair while also creating some curls and volume so my hairs not boring.

I’ve been using this product along with many other items from Garnier Fructis. Although some people mind find these items cheap or not high end enough I have always loved their products because they work very well with my hair. So I can’t speak for others but I haven’t found any products that work as well as Garnier Fructus does for me.

Sadly this is my last post:( For those of you that have kept up with my blog thank you SO much. I was very nervous about doing this only because I find it very hard to come up creative and fun topics and putting it into words but as the semester progressed I felt more and more confident. Thanks to you.

Signing off,

Burt’s Bees Chapstick: Pomegranate

Aesthetic: The aesthetic of this chapstick is very natural and simple. The honey comb holographic is a nice touch because it allows you to remember once again that it is naturally from bees.

Price: A single chapstick is $3 and a pack of four is $9. As you can see above I have a pomegranate flavor and I have to say this one is my favorite. They also have many other flavors including grapefruit, original and strawberry.

Look: Unlike some chapsticks the chapstick color is clear and appears glossy when you apply it. When I don’t want to wear lipstick I usually put some Burt’s Bees chapstick which gives me a very nice and refreshing look to my lips.

Feel: I will always say this. I feel like most chapsticks tend to make my lips feel more cracked and dry from before I applied the chapstick. But with Burt’s Bees I have always felt like it protected my lips and prevent my lips from being dry and peeling in this rough Texas weather changes.

I started using Burt’s Bees chapstick a few years ago when I accidentally mistook it for another chapstick. But I ended up really liking it and have been using their products, mainly the chapstick, very often. I guess I’m kinda lucky that I picked up the wrong chapstick.

I would, embarrassing, say that I have either 20 or over 20 Burt’s Bees chapsticks. I just love them SO much and I always seem to lose them so I got and buy another one or another four pack and then 3 days later I think them and my collection keeps growing. But I’m proud to say I’m 5 months strong into not losing my chapstick and hope to not to!

Have a great day,

NSPA: Fresh Sweet Raspberry Body Butter

Aesthetic: The look of this container is a very basic and natural looking design. It definitely has a lot of pink so this is obviously more of a girl lotion but overall I think it looks really nice.

Price: This 6.76 fl oz container of the fresh sweet raspberry body butter retails to about $6 at Ulta. Depending on where you are located this price may be a little lower or little higher but in my area this is the price. I also do feel that this is an extremly reasonable price for this product because although its not a brand very well known their lotion makes me skin feel SO soft and I absolutely love it.

Look: The look of this product almost reminds me a little bit of silly puddy. This lotion is very think and full of nourishing vitamins.

Feel: Since the lotion is so think it takes a little bit to rub in but overall this lotion makes your skin feel like brand new. I use this every time I shave my legs and my legs always feel so smooth.

I started using this product from Ulta about 5 years ago and still use it to this day. Surprisingly the container lasts a really long time so I haven’t had to buy that much over the years and it also is a great price so I wouldn’t mind.

I mentioned that I used this lotion right after I shaved my legs. Which for me Is one of the only lotions that truly I can feel a difference and that its actually soaking into my skin and making my dryness go away. I also like to use this on my body right after I go out in the sun especially if I come back with a sunburn. This lotions cools your sunburn while also moisturizing your skin. Fantasic!

Mario Badescu Skin Care Spray

Aesthetic: This product comes in a plastic spill-proof spray bottle. The colors of the label give off a very natural and clean vibe which I LOVE.

Price: This 4oz was $7 at ulta. You can also get a 8oz for $12.

Look: The look of the bottle is very refreshing and looks like a product that would be really good for your skin.

Feel: I use this spray as my primer and setting spray. So it’s the first thing I put on my skin and the last thing I put on my skin as well. I love it so much I use it twice! It’s a very refreshing mist and I always feel very clean when using this spray.

I have used Mario Badescu for about four years and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. I have super sensitive skin so anything new or harsh will make me break out and have super dry skin. Many primers and settings sprays before this one always left my skin very irritated so I just had to stop using them. My friend was actually the one who introduced me to these sprays and I couldn’t thank her enough. Even the first time using new things for my skin care my face would get a little irritated but whenever I applied the Mario Badescu spray it was just refreshing and hydrating which is what my skin really needed.

There are 3 different scents of the spray including the purple aloe, chamomile and lavender, the pink aloe, herbs and rosewater and the green aloe, cucumber and green tea. My personal favorites are the purple and pink sprays. Just because I absolutley love lavender and roses. I’m a sucker for earthy flower smells. They also have other skin care products like chapstick, face moisturizers and so much more! Check them out at https://www.mariobadescu.com/category.

Until next time,

Emma

Prep Rally Prime & Prep By Drybar

Aesthetic: This bottle has a sleek pink finish. The color choice of this product is very girly and is able to catch your eye from afar.

Price: I received this product from my FabFitFun subscription box but you can also fine it at Sephora and Ulta for $23.

Look: This bottle is not just like every other detangled bottle. Plastic, easy to travel with and has a spill proof twist cap.

Feel: I use this detangled when I get out of the shower because my hair is always a tangled MESS. When applying it leaves a sweet fragrance in your hair and makes your hair so much easier to brush and has a sleek, shiny finish. I also use this product as a heat protecter when using blow dryers, straighteners, curlers, etc. It works fantastically!

Like a lot of my products this detangler came from my Spring 2020 FabFitFun subscription box. I absolutely LOVE this product because it works so well with my hair. I have naturally wavy and thin hair. When I get it wet either showering, going into the pool or river my hair turns into a big rats nest I would usually just comb through my hair and just tug at all my knots until they were all gone which caused split ends. My hair began to look very frayed and uneven due to me brushing my hair so hard.

This is when I began my search for the perfect detangler. Theres super cheap ones you can get at H-E-B or walmart which worked well but caused my hair to become so dry. Then when I was filling out my product wish list for FabFitFun one of the options was this Prep Rally Detangler By Drybar which I had never heard of. I, of course, googled this product and saw that it had SO many good reviews and even some celebrities used it as well and love it. So I decided to go with it and as soon as my package came in I had to give it a test. I took a shower and immeidatly applyed it to my hair and I was able to brush my hair so easily after. My hair smelled so nice and had a nice shine on it for days. I also read that you could use the detangler as a heat protector for your hair and I use it religiously. I have noticed less damage in my hair and an overall shine that is very noticeable by others.

I would recommend this product to people who have dry hair, easily tangled hair and damage from heat. This is a game changer for me and my hair and I wouldn’t go anyway without my Dryer!

Come see me soon,

Emma.

The Anna Edit: A beauty blogger I LOVE!

I have always loved reading Anna’s blogs. I especially love her blog because she includes Beauty, Style, Life, Travel and a site to shop all the products she uses. Here’s a link to her website! https://www.theannaedit.com/category/beauty/

Anna reviews affordable beauty products and also some really high end products as well. Finding a good beauty reviewer can be hard. Espescially since some bloggers don’t take cost, affects on skin and brands seriously. Anna gives clear descriptions on the products she uses and is easy to understand. She also is SUPER relatable which makes ready her blogs 100x more enjoyable and entertaining.

As you can see, Anna posts pictures of what she reviews and gives a short caption on what the post will be about. One theme I love about her blogs is the coloring. Everything has a nude, natural and clean look to it. There’s not a lot of commotion and its very organized which really caught my eye. This gives the reader an easy platform to look at and find something that interests them right away. Her posts are so aesthetically pleasing to look at.

Under the “Shop” tab you’re able to see all the stylish clothes she blogs about as well. These clothes are absolutely to DIE for! They are super in style and the latest fashion trend. If you find something you like just simply click on the item and it takes you directly to their site where you can purchase the reviewed item. I love the variety of all of her make-up and fashion pieces because they range from casual to going out so you can pick and choose.

The top picture is a selfie of Anna. She gives many real life reactions to the products she uses which is a great aspect to her blog. You are able to see her actually use the products instead of her just telling us about them. This also helps out the brand she uses because many other people wants these products after she has given reviews about them.

I wanted to bring Anna’s Edit to your attention so that you could follow her blog and keep up with her. It’s important to support bloggers in the same area as you because ultimately we all have one goal and that is to review products that we have and would like you to use. Products we feel are really good and everyone should be able to have and enjoy. It’s always nice to have some background information about a product before buying or using it.

I think that wedding planning would be so magical to be a part of and rewarding for the party and myself.

My other plan for a career is to be on a sports marketing team for either a NFL or MLB team. My ultimate goal would be to land a job with the Houston Astros or Houston Texans yes, GO ASTROS & TEXANS!
